This page is the authoritative reference for what runs where, how V2 and V3 differ, what each plan includes, and how AI credits are priced across Activation King products.
Products and platforms
- AI Photo Booth Pro runs on all four platforms: Windows, Mac, iOS and Android (available on the App Store and Google Play). It is subscription software; the 14-day free trial needs no credit card.
- AI Drawing Screen and Photo Mosaic Wall are separate products with their own subscriptions. Each Activation King app is sold standalone; there is no bundle that unlocks everything at once.
- Cameras (desktop app): DSLR and mirrorless bodies (Canon, Nikon, Sony), USB webcams, and GoPro (Hero 11 or newer) for 360 and video. An iPhone cannot be plugged into the PC as an external USB camera, but the iOS app uses the device's own camera.
V2 vs V3
- V3 (current): you sign in with your Activation King account. There is no licence key in V3; access comes from your subscription, and the same account signs in on every device. In the app, tap Connect with Activation King, sign in on the website with any method (email and password, Google, Apple or a magic link), then return to the app.
- V2 (legacy): unlocked with a licence key. V1 and V2 are no longer supported or updated; the recommended path is installing the latest V3 from the Downloads page and signing in with your account.
Plans and AI features (AI Photo Booth Pro)
- Starter covers the booth essentials: all 9 photo booth modes, 2 devices, sync and the template editor. It does not include the AI features.
- Pro and Ultimate add AI Effects, AI Face Swap and AI Video.
AI credits
- Credits are a separate top-up wallet shared by your whole account; plans unlock the AI features, credits power them.
- Typical costs: Face Swap 1 credit per face; Background Removal 1 credit per photo; AI Effects from 6 up to about 42 credits per photo depending on resolution and model; AI Video 30 credits.
- Credits are bought by volume (bigger packs cost less per credit) and they do not expire.
