Fixed Photo Booth Installation: Permanent Revenue
Permanent placement, the lowest-effort recurring revenue.
A fixed installation is the closest thing in this business to passive income: one branded, self-serve booth permanently placed in a high-traffic venue, earning on every play with almost no ongoing effort. It's how operators turn a weekend gig into a property that pays every month.
How it works
Install a branded booth permanently in a high-traffic venue. It runs unattended on pay-per-play.
Best for
Malls, FECs, hotels and attractions with steady foot traffic.
Hands-off income
Native payments and offline-first reliability mean it earns with near-zero ongoing effort.
How to set up a fixed installation, step by step
From finding the right spot to switching on payments. We help with the parts that need a hand.

01
1. Find the right venue
Look for steady foot traffic and a reason to take a photo: hotel lobbies, FECs and arcades, malls, attractions, bars. The best spots already have queues or downtime you can turn into plays.
-
02
2. Agree the deal
Two common models: a fixed monthly fee to the venue, or a revenue share. Revenue share gets you in the door faster because the venue takes no risk. Put it in a simple written agreement with a trial period.

3. Spec and install the kit
A permanent, tamper-resistant enclosure with a tablet or PC, camera, lighting and (optionally) a printer. Tell us the space and we'll help you spec it and plan a clean install.

4. Turn on self-serve and payments
Run the booth in self-serve, offline-first mode so it works even if the venue WiFi drops. Set a price per print or per AI play, Stripe terminal and QR payments are built in, so it collects money with no attendant.
-
05
5. Brand it and rotate content
Skin the booth and every photo with the venue's brand (or yours), and rotate seasonal AI styles so regulars always have a reason to play again. New experiences keep landing in the app over time.

06
6. Monitor and scale
Check plays and revenue remotely, restock prints, and once one site proves out, repeat. A handful of fixed installs is a real recurring business on top of your event work.
Frequently asked questions
How does a fixed photo booth installation make money?
Guests pay per print or per AI play via card or QR (Stripe terminal and QR are native), and the booth runs unattended around the clock. You either pay the venue a flat monthly fee or share revenue, and keep the rest, near-passive income once it's installed.
What kind of venue works best?
Anywhere with steady foot traffic and a reason to capture a moment: hotels and resorts, family entertainment centers and arcades, malls, museums and attractions, and busy bars. Queues and downtime are your friend.
Do I need staff on site?
No. The booth is self-serve and offline-first, payments are built in, and you monitor plays and revenue remotely. Your only ongoing tasks are restocking prints and occasionally refreshing the AI styles.
Flat fee or revenue share with the venue?
Revenue share usually gets you in faster because the venue carries no risk, a flat monthly fee can earn more once a location is proven. Start with a short trial period either way.
