What is RPLidar Controller (LiDAR Interactive Wall)?

Published · Updated

RPLidar Controller, sold on our website as LiDAR Interactive Wall, turns a surface that is not touch sensitive into a touch surface. LiDAR sensors mounted at the edge of the surface detect touches, or a ball hitting the wall, and the software turns them into touch input on the computer.

What it does

  • Calculates sensor positions from the real width and height of your wall.
  • Unifies several sensors into one continuous interactive surface.
  • Calibrates the touch layer to the projected or displayed content.
  • Shows live diagnostics so you can check connections, coordinates and edge accuracy before guests arrive.

After calibration, any software or game you open on that computer works by touch.

What you need

  • A computer (the app runs on Windows).
  • Compatible LiDAR sensors, with mounts. We recommend RPLIDAR A3M1.
  • A display or projection on the surface.

What to run on it

Use it as an independent interaction layer, or add our ready to play games: Interactive Penalty Game and Tic Tac Toe (wall mode).
