Depending on how you use the App and which features you enable, we may collect the following categories of data:
2.1 Account & Identification Data
- Email address
- License key
These are required to authenticate your license and provide access to the App and web user portal.
2.2 Media Content
- Photos and videos captured using the App
- AI-processed images and videos (only when AI features are enabled by the user)
2.3 Face Data (Sensitive Information)
The App processes face data only when AI-powered features are actively enabled by the user.
What face data is collected:
- Facial features detected within images or videos for the purpose of AI processing (face detection and face analysis)
Important clarifications:
- The App uses face detection, not face recognition.
- The App does not identify, authenticate, or uniquely recognize individuals.
- The App does not create biometric profiles or permanent face templates.
3. How Face Data Is Used
Face data is used strictly for the following purposes:
- Face detection to locate faces within an image
- Face analysis required for AI effects
- AI Face Swap processing
- AI photo and video effects
Face data is processed only to deliver the requested AI functionality and is never used for advertising, profiling, or user identification.
4. Face Data Processing & Third Parties
Face data and related media may be processed using the following service providers:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Face detection services
- Microsoft Azure (Italy region): AI Face Swap processing using our own private container infrastructure
- Replicate: AI-powered image and video effects
These providers act as data processors and process data solely on our instructions.
5. Face Data Storage & Retention
- Face data and related media are sent to servers only when AI features are enabled.
- All face data is processed in real time and automatically deleted immediately after processing.
- No face data is stored, archived, or reused after processing is complete.
- We do not retain face data on our servers.
6. Optional Features & User Control
Certain features are entirely optional and disabled by default unless enabled by the user:
- Cloud sharing galleries
- QR code sharing
- Email and SMS sharing
- Lead capture (email, phone number)
If these features are not enabled, no related data is transmitted or stored.
7. Account Creation & Deletion
7.1 Account Creation
Accounts are created using an email address and license key. The same credentials can be used to access both the App and the web user portal.
7.2 Account Deletion
Users can permanently delete their account at any time:
- Via the Delete Account option inside the App
- This action redirects the user to a secure web page where the account deletion is completed
Account deletion:
- Permanently removes the user account
- Revokes the associated license access
- Deletes associated personal data, except where retention is required by law
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data.
Data may be shared only:
- With our infrastructure and AI service providers as described above
- When required by law or legal process
