Sharing Station (Sharing Kiosk) User Guide

What is the Sharing Station?

The Sharing Station (Sharing Kiosk) is a dedicated sharing area that allows guests to access photos and videos created on the main capture kiosk from a separate device or screen.

Through the Sharing Station, guests can:

  • View photos and videos
  • Download content via QR code
  • Share content via email

No photo or video capture is performed on the Sharing Station.

Where Is the Sharing Station Button Located?

When the software is open, regardless of which page you are on, the Start Sharing Station button is always located in the same place. It does not matter whether you are on the Dashboard, Event Settings, or any other page. The position of the Sharing Station button is fixed.

Internet Connection Requirement

Important: An active internet connection is required for photos and videos to appear in real time on the Sharing Station.

  • Online Mode must be enabled
  • If there is no internet connection, content will not synchronize, and QR code and email sharing will not work

Online Mode is strongly recommended when using the Sharing Station.

What Is the Sharing Station Used For?

The Sharing Station is ideal for the following scenarios:

  • Reducing congestion at the main capture kiosk
  • Allowing guests to comfortably browse their photos
  • Providing a dedicated screen focused only on sharing
  • Creating a second sharing point at large events
  • Speeding up digital access after printing

How Does the Sharing Station Work?

  • The Sharing Station does not capture photos or videos
  • It only displays content generated within the active event
  • Content can be shared via QR code, email, or direct download (if sharing options are enabled)

Important Licensing Information

The Sharing Station consumes one license usage from your current license.

  • Main kiosk: 1 license
  • Sharing Station (second device): 1 additional license

The device used as a Sharing Station must also be licensed.

Using the Sharing Station on a Second Device

To run the Sharing Station on a second device:

  1. Open the software on the second device
  2. Go to the Event Management page
  3. Import the event used on the main kiosk
  4. Once the event is loaded, click Start Sharing Station

After this step, photos captured on the main kiosk will appear instantly on the Sharing Station. An active internet connection is required.
