If the robot is connected but does not appear in AI Drawing Robot, go through these checks in order.
- Check the model. Look at the label on the robot body. AI Drawing Robot works with the Dobot Magician and the Dobot Magician Lite. Other robots, such as the Dobot Nova 5, are not detected.
- Update the app. Support for the original Dobot Magician was added in version 1.1.0. If you run an older version, install the latest one from the downloads page in your dashboard.
- Check power and USB. The robot needs both a power connection and a USB connection to the computer running AI Drawing Robot.
- Test the full setup before the event: connection, drawing and overall performance.
