AI Drawing Robot works with two Dobot desktop robots:
- Dobot Magician Lite: a compact portrait robot with a pen holder. Maximum payload 250 g, maximum reach 340 mm.
- Dobot Magician: draws portraits about 2.5 times as fast as the Magician Lite.
Both include a paper holder when bought from us. Drawing time varies with portrait detail and settings.
Connecting the robot
Connect the robot to the computer running AI Drawing Robot. Power and USB connections are required. The Dobot Magic Box is not part of the Magician Lite package.
Robots that are not drawing robots
The Dobot Nova 5 is a robot arm for GlamBot camera moves in AI Photo Booth Pro. It is not a drawing robot, and AI Drawing Robot does not detect it.
Not sure which model you have?
Check the label on the robot body: it says either Magician Lite or Magician. Support for the original Dobot Magician was added in AI Drawing Robot version 1.1.0, so make sure you run the latest version from the downloads page.
